WHERE THERE'S SMOKE
Where There's Smoke is an experimental short form comic that illustrates scattered moments in the lives of two refugees - a harpy and a serpent - as they flee a horrific, unspoken threat. It was inspired in part by the true stories of real refugees around the globe as told firsthand on The Moth and NPR.
